Iran-U.S. trade exchanges down by 10%

TEHRAN, Sept. 26 (MNA) –- According to a report released by a center for state statistics of the United States, the trade exchange between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the U.S. amounted to 141 million dollars by the end of July (within seven months) falling down by 10% compared with the same period last year.

The total trade exchange between the countries amounted to 157 million dollars in the same period last year.

 

During the period, Iran’s exports to the U.S. amounted to 86 million dollars showing an eight-million-dollar drop, while the importation from that country amounted to 55 million dollars showing the same amount of drop, Fars News Agency reported.

 

For the time being, the trade balance between the countries is 31 million dollars positive to Iran. The figure was five million dollars positive to the U.S. at the same time last year.
